In June 2003, the Sacred Heart cathedral in Rochester, NY closed to undergo extensive renovation.
Included in the project was this white oak pulpit, restored by Oakwood Woodworks. I was contracted to reproduce all
of the formerly plaster ornament in real wood, including angels, rosettes, and gothic tracery.
Below are the 6 angels, carved in white oak, about 9" tall.
